SUNK & MOKSHA

SUNK

Sunk sounds like music your middle-aged uncle with an unholy gray mullet-combover hybrid plays every Wednesday night to on-the-go yuppies at a modern, "cool" Lutheran church service like some I went to growing up. No worries, though, it's not as mild as your mom wants it to be. The lyrics were written to reflect the limited scope of the existential experience within the constraints of a single lifetime, exploring at a shallow depth the trappings of mild decadence, relationships with others, and the impact a person can make within their sphere, the "parable" here being something akin to children playing in a house which is sinking into the ground.

MOKSHA (COMING SOON)

Moksha Is a much darker tune, berating the mentality of many privileged individuals, myself probably included, who pine for the kind of suffering that such individuals believe breeds artistic expression, as though there were so simple a thing. This includes the emergent idolatry of the artistic martyr, or the unconsidered eschewing of the affectation of any breed of wealth as a condescending experiment to fulfill oneself.
